Sprint Group UK have been working closely with Laura and Tobias, the owners of the brand-new Fête Grays Yard in Chelmsford to realise their exciting plans.
Together, they’ve now launched an eatery serving breakfast and brunch through to small plates, cocktails, and wine. The pair describe their offering as a:
“Relaxed eatery serving brunch, lunch & weekend small plates. Coffee & cocktail culture is our thing, come say hi, everyone’s welcome, even the dog…”
For their entire professional careers, Laura and Tobias have both worked in the hospitality trade in and around Chelmsford, Essex.
Joining to realise their dream, the duo recently launched a pop-up coffee shop and bar in a former restaurant in Grays Yard building during the height of the pandemic. They have now opened opposite their pop-up location in the former Laura Ashley unit which became available following the success of their pop-up offering.
The Sprint team have worked closely with the couple to provide the kitchen, separate dishwash area, full kitchen extraction system, downstairs main bar, and upstairs function bar.
The restaurant opened its doors on Tuesday 8th March to a great response from Chelmsford. Laura and Tobias have been overwhelmed with the response to the opening and are so pleased that Chelmsford has made way for a new independent eatery that aims to offer something slightly different to what is already on offer in the city Centre.
