Sprint Group installed Burger King's new Drive Thru modular restaurant incorporating the 'Burger King King’s Journey'

Sprint Group installed the new Drive Thru Burger King restaurant located at Magic Roundabout in Swindon.

This was previously a Burger King restaurant, although nearly 2 years ago – in June 2021 – the building was badly damaged in a fire, which resulted in the building being completely rebuilt. The full and extensive rebuild included both external and internal work, incorporating the latest ‘Burger King King’s Journey’ internal decorative scheme.

Sprint were consulted and open to the challenge of designing and implementing the latest Burger King DSS Open Format kitchen modular platform, into a building not originally designed to accommodate the latest Burger King operational platform.

The Open Format kitchen concept provides customers with a clearer view into the kitchen and preparation areas.

The kitchen equipment supplied and installed by Sprint conforms to Burger King’s mandated modular platform to ensure cooking/holding/preparation and wash up areas conform to the highest hygienic and operational standards.

Project Manager, Adrian Sharpe, says: “Sprint’s close working relationship with the BK Project Manager, Project Manager and contractors enabled the Projects Team to efficiently deliver the kitchen on time and to budget. Thanks go to our regular suppliers and partners including Middleby UK Ltd, True Manufacturing, Duke manufacturing, Brown Studios, ICM Ltd – complete fit-out solutions, Mechline Developments, Jestic and East Anglian Installations Systems Ltd.”
