The project team have completed another open format, modular platform kitchen for Burger King.
“Sprint were consulted and open to the challenge of designing and implementing the latest Burger King DSS Open Format kitchen modular platform with the latest Home Delivery Section included, into a building not originally designed to accommodate the Burger King operational platform.” – Adrian Sharpe, Project Manager.
The new Inline restaurant is located at Hardwick Retail Park, Kings Lynn. Previously the restaurant was a Franky & Benny’s that had closed down, but has undergone a full and extensive refurbishment internally, with an external refurbishment incorporating the latest Burger King logo, external signage and colour schemes. More about the site can be found here.
Adrian explains: “The Open Format kitchen concept provides customers with a clearer view into the kitchen and preparation areas.”
The kitchen equipment supplied and installed by Sprint conforms to Burger King’s mandated modular platform to ensure cooking/holding/preparation and wash up areas conform to the highest hygienic and operational standards.
Sprint’s close working relationship with the BK Project Manager, Project Manager and contractors enabled the Projects Team to efficiently deliver the kitchen on time and to budget.
